An exciting new journey

THE sun is shining… hurray… at last.

I’m holidaying in Manchester this summer as I’m covering classes for lots of great colleagues, Jane Craggs and Maryline at the Manchester Buddhist Centre and Janine Hurley at Manchester Maggies.

I’ve really enjoyed the challenge of teaching pregnancy yoga, Rest and Restore yoga and therapeutic yoga to a group experiencing cancer. Teaching at the Maggies is where I feel most at home, holding a safe and compassionate space for whoever joins me. I always feel inspired by the beautiful space and come away feeling uplifted after meeting the amazing people there.

I’m resting today, as on Monday August 19th I start an exciting new journey… I begin my training as a Yoga Therapist! I’m specialising in Yoga Therapy for young people, inspired by my teenage son and the challenges he’s faced in the final year at school.

I’m delighted my teachers are the wonderful Janine Hurley and Lucy Arnsby Wilson. They’re supported by a team of brilliant women.

Wish me luck!
